We have the honor to invite you to attend the Bucharest Business Forum, to be held between 18th - 19th October 2010, organized by World Trade Institute Bucharest, in partnership with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Romania and Steinbeis – Baden – Württemberg.
We would be delighted if you could participate in the Conference/ Exhibition as well as in the discussion panels/ working groups, as per Program attached.
The aim of the Forum will be to create debate platform for all stakeholders interested in developing Flagship Projects within the EU Strategy for the Danube Region through Strategic Partnerships at European macro regional level.
The Forum is dedicated to policy makers and business developers, financiers, National Coordinators and Government Institutions from the 14 riparian states, together with NGOs, Trade Federations and Professional Unions from the targeted business sectors.
The dialog between the participants will focus on the European Technological Platforms in order to propose to the Commission the most suitable governance instruments in the Danube region allowing for a quick access to European financing.
The forum will mark the beginning of a series of events dedicated to extending the networks for key business areas which are developed in the Danube Region under the third pillar – social and economic development, namely in the sectors of Regional Development and Tourism, Culture and Education, Agro – allied, Healthcare Systems, ITC and Innovation, Fashion Industries.

The application period for participation at Bucharest Business Forum started on September 6th 2010 and will close on the 14th of October 2010.
All conference participants are welcome to register at the address mentioned above or by sending by fax a filled in registration form.
The Conference will take place at World Trade Center Bucharest ( 10 Montreal Square, sector 1 Bucharest 011469). It will start at 15.00 hours on 18th October with the official opening, followed by a reception and a cultural event. During the two days Forum, several other events will be organized in parallel with the Conference, such as exhibitions, presentations, dedicated stands.
The Conference will be organized in one plenary session focusing on flagship actions and projects for the Action Plan of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, and six parallel working groups focusing on the following topics: Regional Development and Tourism, Culture and Education, Agro–allied, Healthcare Systems, ITC and Innovation, Fashion Industries.
