WTC Antwerp Flanders welcomes all World Trade Centers to join us forthis Regional Meeting in the heart of Europe. It’s an excellent chance todiscover the port city of Antwerp,  the dynamic region of Flanders andabove all strengthen the global WTC network.

Books have been written about the richness of Antwerp and Flanders. Summarizingit is far to great a task. That’s why we took a different approach. Listed below are?ve things you probably didn’t know about Antwerp and Flanders. All we’resaying is: that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Once you get here, there’s plenty moreto see (Diamonds love Antwerp...) and do.

1. We make the best chocolates in the world. Ok, so maybe you did knowabout this one. But did you know we also boast nine 2-star restaurants and twowith 3 stars?

2. We have the cultural heart of Europe at our ?ngertips. Not only areAntwerp, Brussels, Bruges and Ghent real must-sees. Amsterdam, London,Cologne and Paris are all less than two hours away.

3. We sit in the front row of world politics. NATO, the European Parliament andthe European Commission all have their headquarters in Brussels.

4. We can make Milano and New York jealous of our fashion. It’s true. The Antwerp academy has produced many highly in?uential designers over theyears.

5. We have one of the ?nest city centres in the world. A quick glance at thecathedral with its Rubens paintings, the Central Station (voted 4th most beautifulin the world) and the spectacular new courthouse says it all.
